TORONTO - The Toronto Blue Jays selected the contract of second baseman Chris Getz from triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday and released right-hander Mickey Storey. Getz hit .309 with nine RBIs and six stolen bases in 18 games for the Bisons this season. The 30-year-old native of Southfield, Mich., has played in 449 career major-league games for the Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals over six seasons. The callup came a day after second baseman Ryan Goins was optioned to Buffalo. He hit .150 in 25 games for the Blue Jays with one home run and one RBI.
